June 25, 2026 · 1 sources

Mr. Black has discontinued production of the Eterna Gold Modified, a shimmer reverb pedal. The maker's product page carries the notice "--PRODUCTION DISCONTINUED 06.25.2026--"¹.

The pedal is described on that page as "The second coming of Shimmer Reverb," built on the foundation of the company's Eterna. Mr. Black lists a modified reverb algorithm with expanded decay, which it states runs to "over a 60 second tail," shimmer-swell coupled with standard shimmer, multiple early reflections and an augmented reverb voicing¹.

The page lists a regular price of $229.95 and a sale price of $199.95¹. It does not state how many units were made or whether any remain available.
