Mythos Pedals previewed the Herculean Deluxe Overdrive at Winter NAMM, a two-channel overdrive pedal that combines revamped versions of its Herculean and Runestone circuits in one enclosure¹. The pedal was scheduled to launch on February 21, 2024, through Mythos dealers¹².

The left side carries the Herculean circuit, described as a D-style drive³ and derived from the Herculean V2³. It has Level and Drive controls plus mini-dials for Clarity, which adjusts treble, and Bass, which boosts and cuts low end and interacts with the Drive control³. The right side carries the Runestone, a modded take on the Blues Breaker circuit³, with Level and Drive controls and a Voice control that shapes the top end³. Mythos's Zach Broyles said the Runestone was given a wider range of gain and a revoiced tone circuit "to be a little more centred," taking out some top end and adding "more beef in the bass"³.

Each channel has its own footswitch, and a toggle switch changes the order of the two circuits³. Inside are four DIP switches for clipping options: the Runestone side offers soft and hard clipping, and the Herculean side offers silicon clipping or a "Zen" mode using MOSFET and NOS germanium diodes³. The Runestone side also has an internal trim acting as a presence control³. The pedal runs on 9V DC from a pedalboard power supply³.

Reported prices differ. Guitar World gave approximately $305¹; Guitar Pedal X listed $299²; MusicRadar gave $299³. Mythos called the pedal "the most useful dirt box we've ever created" in its 14-year history¹.
