GuitarPCB has released the NostalgiTone Tower Power, a printed circuit board set for a classic signal boost preamp, the maker announced on October 1, 2026. The set is listed as in stock at $7.95, reduced from an original price of $8.951.
The maker says the circuit is inspired by the signal-boosting capabilities of the Schaffer-Vega system, which it says was used by Angus Young, Van Halen, KISS, and David Gilmour of Pink Floyd1. The board has independent VOLTAGE and POWER controls, which the maker says let builders shape tone and output1. The mainboard measures 2.10 inches by 2.12 inches1.
Each purchase includes one mainboard, one wiring board and one ribbon cable1. GuitarPCB also links to a build document and to drilled enclosures for 125B and 1590B sizes ordered from Tayda, which requires registration1.
"With independent VOLTAGE and POWER controls, Tower Power lets you shape your tone and output to suit your needs."
The release sits in the maker's NostalgiTone line, which it describes as revisiting the circuits and sounds that helped define memorable eras of guitar music1. It is a boost pedal circuit in board form rather than a finished pedal.
