NUX releases Voodoo Vibe stereo mini Uni-Vibe and chorus pedal

NUX released the Voodoo Vibe (NCH-3), a mini Uni-Vibe pedal with Vibe and Chorus modes, Delicious Audio reported on November 16, 2022. The maker describes it as a DSP-based redesign of the Dunlop Uni-Vibe circuit in a mini enclosure.
The pedal has three knobs: Speed, Intensity and Volume1. Modes are switched by pressing and holding the footswitch2. In Chorus mode the Intensity knob changes the depth of the sweeping effect; in Vibrato mode it changes the degree of pitch modulation2. The Speed knob produces slow sweep effects at lower settings and a rapid, shimmery pulse at higher settings2. The footswitch handles on/off and Smart Tap Tempo21.
NUX says the pedal runs on 9V DC rather than the original Uni-Vibe's 18V, and that DSP allows the chorus mode to be enhanced without volume drop issues2. It offers true-bypass or buffer-bypass (Tails), an analog dry signal, and stereo input and output over a 1/4-inch TRS cable2. Delicious Audio called it "the first time we stumble upon a mini pedal with stereo in and out"1. A USB-C port is provided for firmware updates2.
