The Old Blood Noise BL-37 Reverb is a reverb pedal in the company's BL line, following the BL-44 Reverse and the BL-82 Chorus/Delay, Delicious Audio reported on August 10, 20231. Old Blood Noise lists it at $179.00 and marks it sold out on its product page2. The BL series page lists the BL-37 at $179.00 and describes the line's run as "2022 - 2026"3.
The maker says the pedal applies modulation at two points in the reverb trail, and that the Clock slider moves the sound from a quick echo to a dark, stretched reverb2. The controls are a Clock slider, Feedback, Mix and Volume, plus a soft-touch bypass footswitch for true bypass2. Delicious Audio describes the Clock as a diagonal fader that sets the length and character of the tails, with more lo-fi character at higher settings1.
"It features modulation at two points in the reverb trail to give a wandering, lush reverb unlike any of our other reverbs, with a simplified control set"
| Control | Function |
|---|---|
| Clock | Sets the timing of the entire system, from quick snappy reverb to long strange tails2 |
| Feedback | Lengthens the decay and increases the modulation character2 |
| Mix | Sets effect blend from 100% dry to 100% wet2 |
| Volume | Sets overall volume2 |
The pedal requires a 9V DC center negative 2.1mm jack power supply capable of 110mA, not included2. It comes in Retirement Black and Standard finishes, and the art is by Brandy M Patterson2. Old Blood Noise also lists the BL-44, BL-52 Phase Repeater and BL-82 at $179.00 each on the BL series page3.
