Old Blood Noise Endeavors launched the Beam Splitter Automatic Triple Tracker Distortion, a distortion pedal reported on October 19, 202312. Guitar World described it as a stacked stompbox whose goal is to put three separate high gain voices under one roof1.

The pedal takes the input signal and makes three copies of it, each with its own overdrive character2. The three drive sections are color-coded. Purple is a hard-clipping distortion with Gain, Volume and Tone knobs, described as the heaviest and most compressed option and the core tone of the pedal1. Green is a soft-clipping overdrive with Gain and Volume plus Time and Decay controls12. Blue is a transistor overdrive, called the most neutral and reactive, with the same Gain, Volume, Time and Decay knobs12. The delay runs up to 125ms13. A Deviate knob varies the delay times at random in the Blue and Green sections and can be controlled with an expression pedal12.

MusicRadar counted 13 dials, a Gain toggle switch and a soft-touch footswitch3. The three drives can run in parallel to one output or be split to three separate outputs through top-mounted jacks12. Gearnews said the pedal needs a 150mA 9V DC center negative 2.1mm power supply, which is not included2.

"While the goal is singular bigness, you can also find strange filters, flangers, lo-fi vibratos, and trailing slap-back echoes using the delay controls and blending everything to taste"
Old Blood Noise Endeavors, quoted in Guitar World1

The Beam Splitter is priced at $229123. Gearnews reported it was available to order directly from OBNE and would be available from retailers soon2. MusicRadar listed it as available now3.
