One Control has launched TORNADO Fx, a new brand line made under the supervision of guitarist TK, with the Tornado Drive overdrive as its first pedal. The maker lists two versions, the Tornado Drive Brass and the Tornado Drive Aluminum, both shown as sold out on its US site¹²³. Delicious Audio reported the line on September 20, 2022⁴.

One Control describes TORNADO Fx as a collaboration with Björn Juhl of BJF in Sweden, with production in Japan¹². The maker says the first prototypes were used for several years in TK's live performances, and that the Brass model was incorporated into the pedalboard of the DEAD IS ALIVE TOUR 2022, Tornado and Extend Life tour²³. Delicious Audio describes the circuit as an original, non-clone, high-gain overdrive design⁴.

Both pedals have Level, Drive and Tone controls. The Brass adds 2K and High Treble controls and two trim pots, which the maker says "can fine-tune the differences in acoustic characteristics depending on the gig, whether at the venue, a recording studio, or the practice room"². The Aluminum has no trim pot, and the maker says there are differences in component values between the two circuits¹. The Brass enclosure is cut from solid brass and the Aluminum from machined aluminum¹².

The maker's pages give the signal-to-noise figure as 80dB on the product listings and as -80dB on the TORNADO Fx page¹²³.
