PastFX releases Deluxe Elastic Mattress, Gallstone and Echo 600 pedals

September 19, 2025 · 3 sources

PastFX released three pedals on September 19, 2025, according to Guitar Pedal X: the Elastic Mattress Deluxe Flanger, the Gallstone Phase-Shifter and the Echo 600 Slider Analog Delay1. The report lists them at $209, $209 and $349 respectively1. A separate Guitar Pedal X article dated October 16, 2025 gives the Gallstone's price as $203 on PastFX's webstore and Reverb.com store2.

The Gallstone is described by PastFX as "Our recreation of the vintage EHX Small Stone V2 loaded with extra features to expand its palette while retaining the legendary sounds of the original"3. PastFX lists it as a true bypass operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) phaser in a 1590B enclosure, running on 9V DC with a 2.1mm Boss-style negative tip jack and drawing 80mA3. Controls are mix, feedback and rate, plus a level control that PastFX says corrects the volume drop of the original3. A 2/4 stage pushbutton switches between modes, with a red LED for 4 stage (described as the stock original) and a blue LED for 2 stage3. There is also an LED LFO indicator, a voice pushbutton for two feedback network versions, an 8-way rotary width control, a range switch for standard or slow LFO sweeps, and an expand control that PastFX says switches in extra circuitry3. PastFX notes the circuit may take a few seconds to charge up on first power-up, especially in slow range mode, and calls this expected behavior3.

Guitar Pedal X lists the Gallstone's external controls as mix, range, rate, feedback, mini level, 8-way width, voice, stages and expand, with an internal max feedback trimmer and TS in, TS out and 9V DC ports21. The report says the width control's position 8 corresponds to the original's color setting21. It describes the pedal as using "premium vintage/NOS components" and says the output can get somewhat distorted if level and feedback are cranked2.

The Deluxe Elastic Mattress is a Matsushita MN3007 BBD analog flanger based on the EHX Electric Mistress1. Guitar Pedal X lists rate, filter matrix switch, range, blend, mini level and color controls, plus new negative feedback and voicing (70's/80's) pushbuttons, with internal mod/stock, cancel trimmer, gain trimmer, color trimmer and impedance switches1. The report says it omits the stereo output port of its predecessor1.

The Echo 600 is based on the EHX Echo 600 and uses three Xvive MN3005 BBD chips to deliver 600ms of delay, where the report says two are usually required for that timing1. Controls cover level, blend, output, chorus/vibrato depth and rate, and echo feedback and delay time, with a short/long delay time switch and internal gain trimmers1. It runs on 18V DC and has TS input, TS direct out and TS effect out1.
