Gamechanger Audio released the PLUS Pedal II on 8 August 2026, replacing the original PLUS Pedal I. The maker's product page states that "PLUS Pedal I has been replaced with PLUS Pedal II - released on 8th August 2026"1.

The pedal is described by the maker as a "Sustain and sostenuto pedal for all melodic instruments" that adds "piano-style sustain and sostenuto functionality to any musical instrument"1. It runs on what Gamechanger calls Real-time Audio Sampling, "a unique generative algorithm developed by Gamechanger Audio" that captures and loops segments of the instrument's output to produce layers of sustain1. The maker's description: "Think of it as a smart looper that catches the entire decay segment of the most recent note or chord, and uses it to create a continuous sound"1. Gamechanger says the method makes the pedal compatible with "all string instruments, synths, samples, brass & woodwinds, and even vocals"1.

The maker lists the following controls and connections1:

Control or featureFunction as described by the maker
RISE knobSets the fade-in speed of new sustain layers
TAIL knobAdjusts signal spillover after pedal release; at maximum, layers sustain infinitely
SUSTAIN knobAdjusts speed and depth of a gradual high-cut filter on sustained layers
BLEND knobAdjusts WET signal volume, from zero to roughly a 2x boost
GROUP / SINGLE switchGROUP sustains the whole active group of layers; SINGLE sustains the most recent layer
WET footswitchRemoves all DRY signal from the main output
OutputsTwo ¼ inch jacks, "OUT" and "CLEAN OUT/FSW," with a SPLIT & MIX switch
FX loopSend and Return jacks; inserted effects affect only the sustain layers

In GROUP mode the SUSTAIN knob sets the number of simultaneous layers, from 1 to 5, and the maker says up to 5 layers can be stacked1. The pedal requires a standard 9V DC power supply with center-negative polarity and at least 250 mA, and does not include one1.

A separate report describes a different control set, including a Layers knob for "1 to 10 layers, or infinity for endless stacking," plus Auto Layer Catch, Hold, Decay, Resonance and Tone controls, a combo XLR/TS input with a built-in mic preamp, a switchable stereo effects loop and a circular halo display2. That report also states shipping starts August 20262. No US list price appears in either source.
