The Red Panda RD-1 Pitch Delay is a mono delay built around pitch and frequency shifting, listed at $229.00 on the maker's site¹. Guitar Pedal X reported on April 2, 2026 that it was available on the Red Panda Webstore and at leading international dealers².

The pedal has three modes: frequency-shifting, detuning and chromatic transpose². Its controls are Blend, Feedback, Delay and Shift, plus Once and RVRS buttons and the mode switch². Guitar Pedal X described it as "a relatively simple mono pedal - with a clean and clear control topology"². Ports are CTRL / Tap Tempo, TS in, USB-C, TS out and 9V DC². The maker lists power draw at 125 mA¹; Guitar Pedal X gives 150 mA². The two also differ on enclosure size: the maker lists 2.4" x 4.4" x 1.3" with controls and a weight of 0.495 lbs¹.

Guitar Pedal X framed the RD-1 as "a simpler, more affordable mono variant drawing elements from the Raster," and said it delivers "a more accessible take on pitch-shifting delay - but less the expansive and fully granular nature of the Raster Delay"².

Earlier, at NAMM 2025, Sonicstate reported a prototype under the name RD1 Pitch Delayer, saying it used "the same algorithm as the Raster, but without the complexity," with a 1200 millisecond delay and a 2400 millisecond reverse delay, and that Red Panda was "aiming for an accessible price point around $199" ahead of a mid-year release³. The shipping price is $229¹².

A Guitar.com review published August 17, 2026, after the release, called the RD-1 "the essence of the Raster 2 made smaller, cheaper and simpler" and noted "No presets and no stereo output"⁴.
