Roland ends Windows 10 support for its products and BOSS gear
October 14, 2025 · 1 sources
Roland and BOSS products used with Windows 10 lost driver provision and updates, operational guarantees, and help with product usage or troubleshooting as of October 14, 2025, the company said in a support notice. The notice covers Windows 10 and earlier operating systems.
The company tied the change to Microsoft's own end date for the operating system. "Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025," Roland wrote, adding that Microsoft will no longer provide software updates, security fixes or technical assistance for Windows 10 PCs after that date. Roland said it will no longer be able to guarantee proper operation of its products with Windows 10.
The notice lists three areas that end:
| Support service | Status from October 14, 2025 |
|---|---|
| Provision and updates of drivers | Discontinued |
| Operational guarantees | Discontinued |
| Assistance regarding product usage or troubleshooting | Discontinued |
Downloadable files for Windows 10 will stay available for the time being, but Roland said it cannot offer support for download issues, installation procedures or operational guarantees.
"Roland will continue to provide downloadable files for Windows 10 for the time being. However, please note that we will be unable to offer support related to download issues, installation procedures, or operational guarantees."
The notice gives no end date for the downloadable files and does not name individual products affected.
