Silvertone and Jackson Audio have released the Twin Trem, a dual tremolo pedal, Delicious Audio reported on June 25, 2025. The two companies previously collaborated on the 1484 Twin Twelve, a pedal version of Silvertone's 1960s amplifier1.
The Twin Trem holds two parallel circuits: an optical tremolo on the left and a harmonic tremolo on the right. Each can run on its own or the two can be stacked. A status LED shows which is active: blue for the optical circuit, red for the harmonic one, and purple when both are on1. Each side has its own Speed, Depth and Volume controls21. The smaller volume knobs are illuminated in blue and red and fade in and out at the speed of each circuit1.
Each tremolo has independent inputs and outputs, which the makers say allows routing options including stereo setups or placing the two effects at different points in a pedal chain1. The circuit is analog2. RockBoard's PedalPedia lists 9V DC center-negative power and 35mA current draw2.
"On the right, the Harmonic Trem (RED) delivers lush, swirling modulations, while the Optical Trem (BLUE) on the left provides smooth, traditional waves."
Guitar.com published a review of the Twin Trem on March 3, 2025, before the June date, and gave it a rating of 10. Reviewer Eric Dahl called the two sounds "very different, but still full and lush, warm and expressive, with no latency or bad ambient sounds," and wrote that combining them pairs the harmonic tremolo's tonal modulation with the optical circuit's volume throb3. He listed the lack of a tone control for each effect as a minor criticism3. The review gives a price of $2993. Availability and US pricing were not stated in the June 25 report1.
