Soldano introduced the SLO PLUS pedal, the maker's page for it dated December 2024, adding the SLO Normal channel in crunch mode to the original SLO pedal1. Guitar Pedal X reported the launch on December 5, 2024, describing the SLO PLUS as adding the Normal channel to the 2022 SLO Pedal's Overdrive channel2. MusicRadar reported it the following day3.
The SLO PLUS is a dual-channel preamp pedal with independent Normal (crunch mode) and Overdrive channels, each with its own Master (output) and Preamp (gain) knobs and a three-band EQ1. A Presence control and a Deep switch, the latter on the side of the pedal, shape high and low frequencies13. Two footswitches engage or bypass the pedal and switch between channels13. Soldano says the circuit uses the same cascading gain design as the SLO-100 amp1.
"With the addition of the SLO Normal channel (crunch mode), the SLO PLUS now adds this instantly recognizable crunch tone with absolute authority."
