Strymon announced the UltraViolet Vintage Vibe on September 26, 2023, priced at $25912. It is the builder's first take on the Uni-Vibe effect and the third in its smaller, "almost compact" line after the Cloudburst and the Brig3. MusicRadar and Guitar World both reported the pedal available now at that price12.

The pedal uses a new algorithm that Strymon says recreates the optical vibe circuit, including the lamp pulsing and the light-dependent resistors that set the staggered filter frequencies3. Controls are Speed, Intensity and Volume, plus two three-way toggles: one selects Chorus (50% wet), Blend (30% wet) or Vibrato (100% wet), and the other sets Bias to Low, Mid or High12. Strymon says the Bias settings change the shape and timing of the warble and the frequency emphasis, with Low suited to tremolo-style pulsing, Mid to classic vibe tones and High to a smoother sweep3.

Strymon lists TRS stereo input and output in a dual mono configuration, full MIDI with 300 preset locations, a USB-C jack for MIDI control and firmware updates, and an expression pedal input that controls Speed by default3. A discrete Class A JFET input preamp is included31. MusicRadar reported a mono/stereo switch on the top of the pedal1; Guitar World described it as a rear-panel switch2. Strymon co-founder Pete Celi said the pedal was developed after extensive study of vintage units1.

"It can totally do the hyper-authentic '60s thing, but it can do a bunch of other stuff that makes it much more versatile than the original units."
