ThorpyFX adds Block 3 Edition of ER-2 Uni-Vibe with Phase Switch

ThorpyFX has released the ER-2 Block 3, a revised edition of its Uni-Vibe pedal with an added phase switch1. Guitar Pedal X reported the edition on 18 September 2026, describing it as an evolution of the circuit first released in June 2023 and re-engineered in November 2024, when Light Dependent Resistors were placed on the RoHS ban list and the circuit was rebuilt with OTA components2.
The maker describes the pedal as "an evolution of the ER-2 Block 2, the univibe style circuit we designed from the ground up, but with an extra switch"1. The toggle selects in-phase or out-of-phase modulation; Guitar Pedal X states the pedal defaults to in-phase2. The ER-2 has four knobs for Intensity, Offset, Speed and Volume, and two footswitches, On/Off and Vibrato/Chorus, the latter giving a fully wet signal when engaged1. The Offset control changes how the internal LFO ramps up, which the maker says tailors the character of the throb1.
