ThorpyFX has released the Peacekeeper MKIIB, a new version of its low gain overdrive, to mark 10 years in business. Delicious Audio reported the release on August 4, 2025¹.

The maker describes the Peacekeeper as "our take on a low gain overdrive designed to suit all guitars and all amps"². The MKIIB keeps the same circuit and tones, with refreshed artwork: "To celebrate our 10th year in business, the Peacekeeper has had a makeover. The same tones you love, with refreshed artwork"².

The pedal pairs a pre-gain Mids/presence control with post-gain active Treble and Bass controls. According to the maker, the mids control moves from a smooth, mid-scooped gain to a more pronounced mid-humped gain, while the treble and bass controls shape the gain stage's tonality². Delicious Audio describes the circuit as not exactly a Klon clone, but says the sound and specs of the Klon Centaur were in engineer Adrian Thorpe's mind when he designed it¹. The maker cites use as a subtle boost into an amp, "ala Klon style," or as an "on the Edge" overdrive².

The enclosure has recessed knobs, top-mounted jacks and a laser engraved anodized aluminum console on a tough baseplate². Delicious Audio lists the internals as 1% metalfilm resistors, Wima and Panasonic capacitors, Neutrik jacks and a Burr-Brown opamp, and notes the V2 is smaller than the V1 and can only be powered by a 9V supply¹. 99, tax included for the UK only²; no US price is given. An optional Thorpy Barefoot Button is offered with the pedal².
