Tone City has released the Tone City Tape Machine v2025 Analog/Digital Delay, an updated version of its mini delay pedal with a revised circuit. Pedal of the Day reported the release on September 4, 2025.

The pedal is a part-analog, part-digital design. According to Tone City, the dry signal runs through an analog circuit while the delay sounds are processed by a digital circuit¹². The maker says the 2025 version's circuit was changed to sound more like an analog delay with a lowered noise floor¹².

Controls are Time, Level and Repeat, which set the pace of the echoes, their volume and the number of audible repeats respectively¹². Tone City says the pedal can go from a short slap-back sound to a long and ambient delay¹². The maker lists the following specifications¹:

Tone City describes the Tape Machine as a mini-sized pedal whose controls are usable at almost any setting from 0 to 10¹². Pedal of the Day's report describes it as suited to a crowded signal chain that takes up a lot of space, and states that Tone City pedals are available from Osiamo Music Gear². No price was given in either account.
