Tsakalis AudioWorks AC Master combines AC30 preamp and treble booster

The Tsakalis AudioWorks AC Master was reported by Guitar Pedal X on April 23, 2026. The pedal combines a Top-Boosted AC30 style preamp with a RangeMaster-style treble booster in one enclosure, aimed at Brian May and Rory Gallagher tones¹.

The AC side carries Master, Normal, Top Boost, Tone Cut, Treble and Bass controls; the boost side has Boost, Volume and Range controls. Each section has its own footswitch¹. Delicious Audio describes the AC section as recreating the jumpered AC30 experience, with Normal and Top Boost channels blended, and says the boost section adds a Volume control and a 3-way frequency switch with Treble, Mid and Bass positions, using a silicon transistor in place of germanium². Gearnews describes the Top Boost voice as having controls for volume, bass, treble and tone cut, and the Normal voice as having a simple volume control³.

Connections are TS mono in, send, return and out, which the maker uses to create a loop between the two sections¹². The pedal runs on 9V DC at 36mA¹² and is handmade in Greece²³.

Prices differ between the reports. Guitar Pedal X gives $269¹, and Delicious Audio gives 269 USD². Gearnews gives $245³. The US list price is therefore reported as either $269¹² or $245³.

Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson wrote that he would have preferred the pedal in portrait format but called the feature set perfect, adding that he was looking forward to getting his hands on one¹.
