Walrus Audio has released the Eons, a five-mode fuzz pedal, Delicious Audio reported on November 8, 2022. The report describes it as following the Ages Overdrive and the Eras Distortion, built on the same form factor as those pedals and therefore featuring five modes¹.

A five-position rotary knob selects the clipping configuration. Delicious Audio lists the modes as: I, silicon clipping traditional fuzz, "compressed and smooth"; II, silicon clipping with an added bass boost at the beginning of the circuit, "compressed and crunchy"; III, germanium clipping with a feel of "what if a distortion and fuzz had a kid?", "crunchy and dynamic"; IV, LED clipping diodes with a slight high-end cut, "dynamically dark"; and V, hard clipping silicon transistors combined with LED and silicon soft clipping diodes, which the site calls "the rowdiest of the modes with tons of gain: compressed, loud, and angry"¹.

The other five knobs are Volume, Gain, Bass, Treble and Voltage, the last marked with a lightning bolt icon. Delicious Audio says the Voltage knob varies the voltage fed into the circuit from 3V to 18V, for fuzz tones "from the massive to the sputtering (gated-style)"¹. Walrus Audio's builder's notes, quoted in the same report, describe the pedal as "a five-state fuzz capable of massively thick sounds"¹.

The enclosure is sandy tan with red, cream and black ink, and the artwork features a four-horned Markhor goat illustrated by Adam Forster. Listed specifications are 9V DC, center negative, 100mA minimum, and dimensions of 2.62 x 4.77 x 2.25 inches including knobs. Walrus Audio recommends an isolated power supply and does not recommend daisy chain power supplies; the power supply is not included¹.

Delicious Audio gave no US price or ship date¹. A Guitar.com review published January 3, 2023 lists the Eons as a multi-stage fuzz pedal made in the USA, with true bypass, 9V DC power only (not supplied) and 100mA power draw, and gives dimensions as 121 x 66 x 35mm. That review gives no US price².
