The Collision Devices Snack Series Fuzz is a compact Distortion/Fuzz pedal and one of the first releases in the maker's Snack Series, a line of small mono effects introduced in January 2026 and designed, in Premier Guitar's words, "to be fun, tiny and useful while also being accessible"1. It offers three fuzz modes (Soft, Mid and Hard), three presets, an expression input and momentary switching2.
The three fuzz modes
Each mode approaches fuzz from a different direction, and Pedal of the Day's April 2026 review describes what each does:
- Soft gives you an analog style saturation with a filter, and a slight flutter can be added on top of it to enhance its character3.
- Mid provides dephased parallel fuzzes where you can control the phases of both, easily accessing every style of digital fuzz3.
- Hard finds an aggressive fuzz with a filter. "This is a gated chainsaw. Your signal has never been this square."3
The three presets let you store settings across those modes, and the expression input plus momentary switching make it possible to change the pedal's behavior from outside the box2. Across the Snack Series, Premier Guitar reports an expression pedal you can assign to any control1.
The Snack Series
The Snack Series is Collision Devices' line of compact effects, and the Snack Series Fuzz is its fuzz offering. Its list price is €165.00 EUR, and it was most recently offered as a B-stock sale at €130.00 EUR2. Collision Devices describes its Hard mode as finding "an aggressive fuzz with a filter. This is a gated chainsaw," adding: "Your signal has never been this square."3
The Pitcher, the series' pitch pedal, also carries an expression input of its own4. Related fuzzes from the maker include the Collision Devices TARS DLX, the Collision Devices BHS and the Collision Devices FZ, alongside the original Collision Devices Snack Fuzz. For more on the effect type, see Fuzz Pedals.
B-stock and availability
Collision Devices sells the Snack Series Fuzz in a B-stock version. On B-stock units the electronics are perfectly fine, but the enclosure has some velcro on the back, and the maker describes them as freshly built and ready to ship2. The B-stock sale price is €130.00, against the original price of €165.00 (both as of 26 October 2026)2.
The B-stock Snack Series Fuzz was offered at €130.00 EUR, below its €165.00 EUR list price, as of 26 October 20262.
For players in the United States, the maker's product page states that UK and USA orders are shipped from a UK and USA hub2.
