Dunlop IM95K Iron Maiden Killers Cry Baby Wah

Wah
List price
$229.99

The Dunlop IM95K Iron Maiden Killers Cry Baby Wah is a full-size wah pedal finished in the artwork from Iron Maiden's Killers album. Under the artwork it is a conventional rocking-treadle wah: rock your foot back and forth on the pedal and the wah effect on your tone changes instantaneously, in the manner of the Cry Baby Standard and GCB-95 designs12.

Controls and how it works

The IM95K keeps things simple. Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson noted that "the actual CryBaby variant is rather stripped back - there are no additional surface controls," so there are no knobs or switches on the top surface to set1. Everything happens through the treadle and the on/off action built into the pedal's travel.

"To turn the pedal on/off, push the top of the pedal down until you hear a 'Click'."
Dunlop IM95K manual2

That is the standard Cry Baby arrangement: press the toe of the pedal fully down to engage or disengage the effect, then rock the treadle while playing to sweep the filter. Signal goes from your guitar into the INSTRUMENT jack and out of the AMPLIFIER jack to your amp2.

Specifications

Dunlop's manual gives the following figures for the IM95K2:

SpecificationValue
Power supply9 volts DC
Current draw900 µA
Input impedance800 kΩ
Output impedance<10 kΩ
Low pass center frequency350 Hz to 450 Hz
Maximum level, heel down-8.0 dBV
Maximum gain, heel down+19.5 dB
Signal to noise ratio, heel down98 dBV, A-weighted

The manual lists a heel-down maximum gain of +19.5 dB, which is worth knowing if you run the wah into a high-gain amp or drive pedals: heel-down notes will hit them noticeably hotter than your clean signal.

Power options

The IM95K can run on a battery or an adapter, and its 900 µA draw is light enough that almost any pedalboard supply can carry it2:

  • One 9-volt battery, accessed via the bottom of the pedal
  • The Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter
  • An MXR Brick Series power supply

Price and availability

Dunlop's artist page for Iron Maiden lists the IM95K at $229.99 as of October 20263. When the pedal was announced, Guitar Pedal X reported that "it goes for $230 in the USA" and £239 at Andertons in the UK, and that "The Killers CryBaby Wah is widely available now"1.

Where it sits in the Cry Baby line

Dunlop has built a large signature range around the Cry Baby platform, from the Kirk Hammett and Jerry Cantrell models to the Tom Morello and Slash versions. The IM95K's distinguishing feature within that range is its finish rather than added circuitry: where some signature models add controls or range switches, the Killers wah is deliberately stripped back to the core wah action, with the Killers artwork and Eddie livery as the signature element1. If you want a Cry Baby with extra sweep controls instead, the Cry Baby 535Q Multi-Wah takes that direction; if you want the plainest version of the circuit, the Cry Baby GCB-95 is the reference point.

Questions

Is the Dunlop IM95K Iron Maiden Killers wah a limited edition?

Dunlop unveiled the IM95K at NAMM 2026 as a signature Cry Baby carrying the Killers album artwork, and Guitar Pedal X reported in January 2026 that it was widely available at that time rather than a strictly limited run. Dunlop's own artist page continues to list it, priced at $229.99 as of October 2026, so it reads as an ongoing signature release in the Cry Baby line rather than a one-off sellout.

How do I turn the IM95K wah on and off?

There is no separate stompswitch. Dunlop's manual says to push the top of the pedal down until you hear a click to turn the pedal on or off. Rocking your foot back and forth on the treadle then changes the wah effect on your tone as you play.

Does the IM95K Cry Baby take a battery or an adapter?

Both. The pedal runs on one 9-volt battery, accessed through the bottom of the pedal, or on external power. Dunlop specifies the Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter or an MXR Brick Series power supply. The manual lists the power supply as 9 volts DC with a current draw of 900 µA.

What is the center frequency range of the IM95K?

Dunlop's manual gives a low pass center frequency range of 350 Hz to 450 Hz. That sits in the low mids, which is where a classic Cry Baby style wah sweeps when you rock the treadle from heel down to toe down.

How much does the Dunlop IM95K cost?

Dunlop's artist page lists the IM95K at $229.99 as of October 2026. Guitar Pedal X reported a price of $230 in the USA when the pedal was announced at NAMM in January 2026, and £239 at Andertons in the UK.

Is the IM95K a full-size wah pedal?

Yes. Guitar Pedal X described the Killers Cry Baby Wah as a full size wah, so it takes up the same footprint on a board as a standard Cry Baby rather than one of Dunlop's mini wah enclosures.
