The JHS Pedals EHX Green Russian Pi "Moscow Mod" is a modification that JHS Pedals offered for Electro-Harmonix's reissued Green Russian Big Muff Pi, a fuzz/overdrive pedal. JHS described it as a mod that "turns this classic fuzz/overdrive into a tone machine," taking the stock Green Russian a step further than the factory circuit.1
What the mod adds
The mod is fitted to the pedal's enclosure rather than replacing it. On the left side of the pedal, two toggles are added: the lower toggle is the Mode toggle, and the upper toggle is a second modification control. A knob is added on the right side.1
The Mode toggle has three positions:
