MXR Classic 108 Fuzz

The Bee Buzz started as a Custom Shop project to grant the request of its Japanese distributor, who preordered twenty pedals. It is Black Cat’s version of the highly sought after vintage Roland Bee Baa. The first prototype has turned out very well, Black Cat decided to continue the run and has manufactured fifty Black Cat Custom Bee Buzz pedals in total. The Bee Buzz fuzz pedal is hardwired in the USA, featuring elegant top-grade hardware and knobs.

The Black Cat OD-1 or “Freddie Fuzz” is an original design crafted based on the innovative properties of Analog Devices’ dual operational amplifier chip, OP275. It can go from clean to moderately crunchy to full-on saturated distortion. The Black Cat OD-1 responds to your pick attack and cleans up well when you roll back the guitar volume, just like a great Fuzz Face. It has been used by the likes of Lyle Workman, Beck, Steve Lukather, Scott Henderson, Kyle Cook (Matchbox Twenty), and several others.

The Boss FZ-5 Fuzz guitar effects pedal is a modern machine spitting out a retro sound.
