What it does
The Radial Big Shot Mix is a switching pedal made by Radial, the Canadian builder behind the Tonebone and Big Shot lines of amp and instrument switchers, including the BigShot ABY and the BigShot I/O.
Radial's published support material does not give a dedicated description of the Mix itself. What the maker has documented is the circuit family behind its power booster pedals: Radial states that all of its power boosters, such as the Bigshot PB1, share one class-A design that traces back to the Radial JD7, a multi-guitar distribution system, and that each pedal in that family adapts the same basic circuit for a different size, feature set and application1.
"All of the Radial power boosters employ the same basic class-a circuit design stemming from the Radial JD7."1
For players comparing Radial switchers, the related pages cover the models Radial has documented in detail, and the switching pedals type page explains what this class of pedal does on a board.
