Nick Reinhart is the guitarist and vocalist of Tera Melos, and also plays in Big Walnuts Yonder12. EarthQuaker Devices describes him as "a tone-tweaker conjuring expressive and bizarre sounds from any pedal he touches"2.
Credits and gear
In June 2017, EarthQuaker Devices met Reinhart at Juan Alderete's 5 Starr Sound Labs to go through favorite settings on three of their pedals: the Bit Commander, the Transmisser, and the Avalanche Run2. He also used a looper in that session, performing what the piece calls "an improvised outer-space symphony that must be heard to be believed"2.
A Halloween-themed EarthQuaker Devices feature from October 2017, written under the persona "Lick Myheart," jokes about Reinhart putting "a fuzz on Lick Myheart's pedalboard," and notes his use of the Levitation reverb alongside it3.
In June 2023, during the Treasures and Trolls tour, Premier Guitar's Chris Kies met Reinhart at Nashville's High Watt to walk through what the piece calls his "pawnshop setup"1.
