Anasounds has released the Full Story Collector's Edition, a limited boxset of its Full Story fuzz and distortion pedal, according to the maker's product page. The page lists the edition at 499,00 € and marks it sold out, saying part of the stock went to retailers worldwide1.
The maker describes the pedal as revisiting "the history of the famous big fuzz / distortion with a massive sound and infinite sustain"1. The boxset contains seven Tone Cards, each representing a different era and version, and the maker says the Full Story can run two versions separately or stacked, with a built-in treble booster offering four voicings and a guitar pickup impedance simulator1. The maker states the system "doesn't represent any kind of compromise in fidelity compared with the vintage pedals"1.
The seven cards are named after versions the maker ties to players and styles: the Ram's Head for infinite sustain, the Red & Black for "Jack White-style aggression," the Green Russian for "greasy garage riffs à la Black Keys," and the Black Russian for stoner playing1. The maker says it studied fuzz and distortion units from the seventies and nineties to define the seven colors, a project that began with a 2020 episode for the YouTube channel PALF about the history of the Big Muff1.
"250 will be made, not one more."
The packaging is handmade by Spanish craftspeople, and the box is designed especially for the edition1. The page lists a weight of 0,01 kg, dimensions of 10 × 10 × 10 cm and SKU 37602575731041. The page gives the price in euros only; no US list price is stated.
