Aviate Audio unveiled the Aviate Audio Multiverse Player Edition at NAMM 2024, the company's user-configurable digital stompbox, priced at $349 and available now¹. The pedal follows the Multiverse Developer Edition, which was priced at $399², and presents the Multiverse concept at a lower price with an updated enclosure and refreshed software¹.

Players customize sounds through Aviate's Audio Shop, creating their own effects and uploading them to the pedal, or downloading third-party digital effects made by other users and developers¹. Effects are created, controlled and edited via the bundled Aviate Audio Effect Creator app, and the pedal can be synced to the Multiverse Designer plugin interface to create and manage sounds and save presets to the pedal¹. The Multiverse can be run in stereo¹.

The matte black enclosure has Gain and Level dials, four programmable rotary controls, two programmable footswitches and two user-assignable LEDs, plus a 1.3" OLED display¹. It has MIDI and USB connections and a pair of expression pedal inputs with TRS connections; a recommended MIDI adaptor is sold separately¹. It is powered by pedalboard power supply or USB¹. Delicious Audio reports stereo input and output jacks for 1/4" TRS cables, a USB C port that can connect the pedal to a computer for use as an audio interface and for transferring effects, and a processor running at 600 MHz with a 48 kHz sampling rate³.

Aviate will launch the Multiverse Designer v1.3.0 software in February 2024, which adds IR support for players to manage their cabinet emulations¹.
