Cosmodio Instruments launches Horoscope Echo Sequencer stereo delay/reverb
October 15, 2026 · 2 sources
The Cosmodio Instruments Horoscope Echo Sequencer is a full-stereo delay and reverb that manipulates clock speed to create delay textures, reverberations, pitch transposition and fidelity changes1. It was reported on October 15, 20262, with the price given as $349 direct from Cosmodio Instruments1.
The pedal has Precise and Diffuse modes, nine sequences, nine Constellations, nine controls and four onboard user-definable presets1. The sequences are listed as Arp Up, Arp Down, Arp Up/Down, 6 Notes, 8 Notes, 10 Notes, 12 Notes, 16 Notes and Infinity Sequence1. The Constellations run from Extreme Lo-Fi Massive Octave Stack through Slow Clock 3 Octaves, 3 Stacked Octaves, 2 Stacked Octaves, 1 Octave, Perfect Pythagorean Intervals, Cascading Perfect Intervals, Just-intoned 5-Limit Pentatonic and Ptolemaic Intense Diatonic1.

In Precise mode the Time Division/Tone control sets delay time and selects a division of the step rate; in Diffuse mode it works as a tone control for darker or brighter reverb1. The Drift knob is bidirectional: turning left adds Sequence Drift, mutating the sequence over time, and turning right adds Pitch Drift, described as LFO warble and higher chances of glissando slides between sequencer steps1. When the sequencer is not moving the pedal behaves like a normal delay or reverb, but when it steps forward it changes the internal clock speed, compressing or expanding the echo and transposing the pitch of any sound currently echoing1.
Pedal of the Day lists mono, stereo or mono-to-stereo operation, four customizable presets, tap tempo control over sequencer step rate and base delay time, expression pedal and CV (0-5V) control with customizable mappings over every parameter, and mechanical bypass or buffered bypass with echo trails2. It describes the pedal as drawing on quantized arpeggiation, sequencing and accented glissandos, with scales from pure octaves and perfect Pythagorean intervals to just-intoned pentatonics and diatonics2.
"It's a musical kaleidoscope that can reflect, expand, and compress sound. And underneath it all, a fully featured delay and reverb."
Guitar Pedal X reported that Joe's Pedals in the UK was expected to offer it, and described a significant learning curve, calling it a by-feel device with no exact reference delay times, only degrees1.
