Dark Devices, the new pedal brand from Harry Holden, released its first product, the White Disto, on November 5, 2026¹²³. Holden is known for the HarryAndGuitar demo channel¹².

The White Disto is composed of two individual circuits covering boost through overdrive to relatively high gain, each with separate components and different op-amps¹². The higher-gain voicing is described as closer to a classic White Face Rat with changes to tone and character, while the lower-gain, high-headroom channel uses extra volts and red LEDs for a voicing described as adjacent to the 1981 Inventions DRV, but more expansive and with more punch¹². The pedal is described as massively evolved from the White Face ProCo Rat that inspired it¹².

The first batch was listed at circa $245 from the Dark Devices webstore¹². Once the first batch sells, the site was to switch to pre-orders for a second batch¹².

Guitar Pedal X reported that many have commented on the pedal's touch sensitivity and dynamics, including guitar volume cleanup, and called the lower-gain channel the star of the show¹². The same article said it would have liked a second three-way toggle for LED and no-diode clipping options on the higher-gain circuit, and a second footswitch for switching channels on the fly¹².
