Darkglass Electronics announced the launch of KosmOS 1.16, a major operating system update for its Anagram modeling platform, on June 26, 2026¹².

At the center of the release is a partnership with Tone3000 that brings full Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) Architecture 2 (A2) support to Anagram¹². The update adds three processing blocks, Neural Amp, Neural Pedal and Neural Loader, and allows up to three simultaneous instances of NAM A2 Full, A2 Lite or A1 configurations¹². Players can import custom digital captures made by a community of more than 300,000 musicians and recording engineers, according to the announcement¹².

The update also adds bass processing blocks. The Peggy Classic is described as providing a harmonically rich punch meant to replicate foundational bass tones, scaling from clean tracking to overdriven textures¹². The Peggy Fliptop and its matching Peggy Fliptop 1×15" cabinet emulation are said to bring the sound of 1960s recording studios, with what the announcement calls dynamic tube warmth¹². A combined High-Pass and Low-Pass Filter (HPF+LPF) block puts both filters in a single slot to cut low-end rumble and harsh high frequencies at once¹².

Workflow changes include a DSP Meters view, enabled in the advanced settings menu, that shows the processing load of each block in the signal chain¹². A Type Parameter Values feature lets users touch a setting on the block screen and enter exact values on an on-screen numpad¹². New Behavior Device Settings add customizable footswitch layouts, including Mode Cycling between Preset, Stomp and Scene modes, plus Up/Down behavior changes for those modes¹². The system now holds up to 126 user-configurable Scenes, which can be copied, rearranged and recalled¹².

Darkglass directs players to its website for installation instructions and compatibility information¹². No price was given for the update.
