Death By Audio was due to list the Disturbance, a lockable LFO modulator, on its webstore on May 25, retailing for $250¹. The pedal combines filter, flanger and phaser effects in one unit².

A three-way switch selects the modulation type: Filter, Flanger or Fazer³. The Filter mode offers highpass and lowpass options for resonant swells and piercing tones; the Flanger runs from what the maker calls watery delays to screaming flange effects with distorted feedback; and the Fazer is an 8-stage phaser with options for filtered scoops or a blend of phaser and flanger tones³. The Tensity knob adjusts feedback and effect structure, with different "-" and "+" modes for each modulation type³. Three LFO controls set the center point, width and speed³. A Trip stomp freezes the LFO at its current position, and pressing it again resumes the cycle wherever it left off³.

A CV OUT jack sends a voltage following the LFO to other pedals and devices³. It is set to about 0-5 V by default and can be trimmed down to near 0 V or up to 7 V using an internal CV LEVEL trimmer³. The pedal runs on a standard 9 VDC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel and draws 67 mA³. It measures 4.95" x 3.95" x 2.6" including hardware and weighs 13 oz.³. MusicRadar reported the enclosure has top-mounted I/O jacks, a side-mounted CV output and true bypass, and that the pedal is hand-made in New York City⁴.
