Delicious Audio published an updated article on Oct. 6, 2026 covering the Walrus Audio Mako M1 MkII, listing the features Walrus Audio added to the second version of its "High-Fidelity Modulation Machine"1. The article describes the pedal as part of the Mako line of stereo, multi-algorithm pedals and says it delivers Phaser, Chorus, Tremolo, Vibrato, Rotary and Filter effects1.
Walrus Audio describes the M1 MKII as "a stereo, all-in-one modulation pedal featuring six studio-grade programs based on fan-favorite modulation tones: Chorus, Phaser, Tremolo, Vibrato, Rotary, and Filter"2. The maker's list of new features includes total BPM control, with tempo selected and read out on the menu screen for the Chorus, Phaser, Tremolo and Vibrato programs; an internal wet/dry mix; a new flanger sound added to the Chorus algorithm; 128 onboard presets; a navigation menu for secondary controls and lo-fi parameters; and revamped Rotary and Filter programs2. Delicious Audio's list matches these items and describes the screen as "A brand new LED Screen giving access to a Navigation Menu for adjusting secondary controls and Lofi parameters"1.
Each of the six programs has three types, selected with the left encoder knob, which also handles effect type, BPM, wave shape and other parameters2. In the Chorus program, Type I is a traditional chorus, Type II runs three chorus units in parallel as a tri-chorus, and Type III is a vintage-style flanger2. The pedal also has six global lo-fi controls: Env, Drive, Space, Age, Noise and Warble, adjusted with the right encoder knob and blended with the Lo-Fi knob2. Presets 0 to 9 are split across Banks A, B and C, and presets 10 to 128 are reached by manual selection or MIDI2.
"Total BPM control, allowing users to select their specific tempo and read it out on the menu screen for Chorus, Phaser, Tremolo, and Vibrato programs"
