Pedal Pawn releases Octone octave fuzz pedal

Pedal Pawn has released the Pedal Pawn Octone, an octave fuzz pedal the British builder describes as a variant of the vintage 1970s Octavia Fuzz¹. Guitar World reported the launch on August 2, 2022²; Gearnews covered it on August 9, 2022³; and Delicious Audio added it to its article on Octavia clones and variants on January 27, 2023¹.

The Octone has two controls, Level and Boost². Pedal Pawn lists hand-selected components including NOS germanium diodes with a transformer, a standard 9V power input, true bypass switching and loud output levels⁴. The maker says the pedal is handcrafted in the UK⁴; Delicious Audio gives the location as Cambridgeshire¹. Guitar World reports that Pedal Pawn replicated the vintage circuit and adjusted it so the octaves would be cleaner, and that backing off the Boost can give an all-but-clean octave effect². Gearnews describes the interface as simple and says the pedal promises a clear octave effect past the 12th fret and with the boost cranked³.

Pedal Pawn's stated features include:

• Tuned for pure vintage octave fuzziness
• Immensely clean and clear octave
• Retains high octave with the boost cranked
• Maintains pronounced octave below 12th fret
• Hand-selected components including NOS germanium diodes with transformer
• Handcrafted in the UK
• Loud output levels to cut through the mix
• Standard 9V power input
• True bypass switching⁴¹

Pedal Pawn lists free worldwide shipping on all pedals and asks customers to allow up to 4-6 weeks for dispatch from the order date due to high demand⁴. Guitar World reported the pedal as available now².
