Jackson Audio announced the Twin Trem, a dual analog tremolo pedal designed in collaboration with Silvertone, on November 15, 20241. The pedal uses the Twin Twelve format and enclosure, the same format as the Silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve Preamp, with the same distinctive knobs1.
The Twin Trem holds two tremolo circuits. The Harmonic Trem sits on the right and the Optical Trem on the left, and each can run on its own or the two can be combined2. Guitar Pedal X describes the layout as "simply an Optical Tremolo on the Left, and Harmonic Tremolo on the Right - which you can deploy independently or together"1. Each side has its own Speed, Depth and Volume controls and its own footswitch21. Delicious Audio reports that the LEDs turn blue for the optical circuit and red for the harmonic one, and purple when the two are stacked3. The smaller volume knobs are illuminated and fade in and out to show each circuit's speed3.
Each channel has its own input and output, which allows separate routing, including stereo configurations or placing the two effects at different points in a pedal chain13. The chassis is brushed aluminum with top-mounted jacks1. RockBoard lists the circuit as analog, running on 9V DC center negative at 35mA2; Guitar Pedal X notes the power supply is not supplied1.
The price is listed as $2991. Guitar Pedal X reported the pedal "should be imminently available at international dealers too"1.
