The Meris MercuryX, a modular stereo reverb from California-based Meris, was reported on July 17, 2025, ahead of the Brooklyn Synth and Pedal Expo, where Delicious Audio says players will be able to try it¹. The pedal combines eight custom Meris reverb algorithms with the modular system UI and architecture the company first introduced with its LVX pedal²¹.

The eight reverbs are Ultraplate, Cathedra, 78 Room, 78 Plate, 78 Hall, Spring, Prism and Gravity²¹. Meris says Ultraplate and Cathedra come from the Mercury7 and are inspired by the sci-fi reverbs in Blade Runner, the 78 Room, Plate and Hall structures are inspired by a studio classic, and Spring, Prism and Gravity are new to MercuryX². The pedal has an advanced ARM processor, a color screen interface, 99 preset locations in 33 banks, a favorite bank for three presets, an instant access tuner, an independent stereo freeze and gate envelope controls for every reverb type²¹. Processing elements include 79 Chorus, Vibrato, Vowel Mod, Tremolo and Hazy Lo-Fi²¹. The stereo predelay offers 2.54 seconds with modular feedback routing location and selectable note divisions for each side²¹.

The signal path is analog with a JFET input section, 24-bit AD/DA conversion and 32-bit floating point DSP, with stereo input and output on separate jacks and switchable headroom for instrument or synthesizer/line levels²¹. MIDI In and Out use standard DIN jacks, and there is a dedicated expression pedal jack²¹. Bypass is selectable between true bypass (relay) and analog buffered².

The US list price is $599.00². Guitar.com reported the pedal available directly from Meris at that price in October 2023³.
