The Mile End Effects Julep, a stereo panning/tremolo and phaser pedal from Montreal builder Justin Cober, was profiled by Delicious Audio on June 13, 20221. The pedal had been announced in December 2021, when it was available for pre-order with shipping expected around March 1, 202223.

Delicious Audio describes the Julep as "a versatile optical stereo panning/tremolo and phasing effect that can produce a wide variety of sounds with variable waveform," with separate depths for the left and right channels1. The two effects run in parallel with separate footswitches and controls1. The phaser has Depth and Rate knobs; the tremolo side has Left Depth, Right Depth and Rate, plus a Waveform knob that sits on the phaser side but applies to the tremolo's stereo LFO, producing triangle, square and shapes in between1. A Sync/Separate toggle synchronizes the panning between the stereo outputs or separates them by 180 degrees123. Run in mono, the panning effect becomes a regular tremolo23.

The pedal is true bypass and requires 100 mA at 9VDC through a 2.1mm center negative connector1. MusicRadar reported it is handmade in Canada3. Delicious Audio said Cober's pedals "sell out within days of release" and closed its piece: "This pedal looks really cool, but good luck finding it!"1

"by concept a semblance of the infamous Ibanez FP-777 Flying Pan, but functionally and electronically is an expansion and improvement on the idea"

Gearnews and MusicRadar both listed the price as CAD 27923; no US dollar price was given. Gearnews reported the pre-order and March 1 shipping date on December 21, 20212, and MusicRadar carried the same date that day3.
