Mooer announced the Mooer Purer Octave on August 14, 2023, according to Delicious Audio, which describes it as the second version of the company's earlier Pure Octave mini pedal¹. Mooer's own product page lists the pedal among its octave and pitch pedals².

The pedal offers 15 polyphonic octave effect combinations plus one detune effect, selected with a large rotary knob in the middle of the enclosure²¹. Delicious Audio reports that the modes cover combinations of single and double -1, +1, -2 and +2 octaves, some triple octave options, and the detune mode¹. Two smaller dials, labeled SUB and UPPER, set the level of the low and high frequency bands, which Mooer says its DSP algorithm separates so that presets run without spectral artifacts or distortions². A three-way toggle switch provides a real-time mode and two preset slots; Delicious Audio describes the presets as stored through a push button on top of the footswitch²¹. A footswitch handles bypass, with an LED showing its status².

The case has a glossy orange finish, and the box includes an owner's manual².

Neither page gives a US price or a ship date. Delicious Audio dates the original Pure Octave to the early 2010s and notes that "polyphonic" means the pedal can track and pitch-shift more than one note at a time¹. A MusicRadar review of that earlier pedal counted 11 octave modes selected by a large rotary knob, with volume knobs for the dry sound, the sub and the upper octaves, and listed octaves that were not always on pitch among its drawbacks³.
