Nordvang Custom adds Plus Mod option to Triple Gain overdrive

October 1, 2026 · 1 sources

Nordvang Custom listed the Plus Mod option for the Triple Gain in October 2026, according to the product page, which states "OCTOBER 2026: New PLUS MOD option. Sold out." The page also shows the standard pedal as in stock.

The Plus Mod adds "NOS 1N34A (ITT brand) clipping diodes," a "Boosted output of the TS circuit" and "A mix of audigrade, Japanese made, carbon-film and metal-fim resistors in the audio path." The maker lists the upcharge at 300 DKK, with buyers selecting between the standard and Plus Mod versions at the bottom of the page.

The Triple Gain is an overdrive that combines three circuits: a Bluesbreaker-style circuit, a TS-10 replica and a Klon-style K-circuit. The maker says the signal chain runs from the Bluesbreaker to the Klon and then into the TS-10, and that external switches let players change the stacking order and the gain level of the BB section. A TRS-split function lets the three circuits run as separate effects with a pedalboard switcher.

"The Triple Gain is based on three classic overdrive circuits: BB-circuit, TS-10 and the K-circuit"

The maker describes the pedal as inspired by John Mayer's drive tones, stating that each of the three source pedals "has played - and continues to play - a significant role in John Mayer's tone."
