Stefan Karlsson, writing at Guitar Pedal X, noted that Henrik "prides himself on using only the very best Through-Hole Components throughout," and that the 1590B3 series of classic overdrive plus boost pedals, which includes the Altitude, MID AIR and Skyline, features "the highest levels of quality"¹.

The same review argued that owing to the complexity and nature of these builds, the pedals are actually well priced for what they are¹. The MID AIR also introduced a construction approach of its own: stacked PCBs in a compact enclosure, which the maker developed as a platform for future pedals¹³.

Henrik Nordvang, founder and designer

Henrik Nordvang founded the company in 2014 and designs its pedals³. His designs draw heavily on documented player setups. The Triple Gain page notes that the circuits behind it have played a significant role in John Mayer's tone, and the '83 Drive is based on two original pedals that Mayer used as the pre-drive he stacked into his TS10 for his lead tone¹⁴¹⁰. Gravity came from gain stacking of a Klon and TS-10 as Mayer stacked them in songs like "Gravity" and "Belief"¹⁴¹⁵, and the Gravity v2.5 page cites the outro solo tone in "Gravity" and the intro of "Belief" as specific inspirations¹⁵.
