Source Audio has released the Artifakt Lo-Fi Elements, a stereo lo-fi pedal with seven engines, Delicious Audio reported on November 7, 2025, calling it "the new, long-awaited release by the Massachusetts-based brand"1. Guitar Pedal X and Gearnews both published coverage of the pedal on June 26, 202423.

The seven engines are selected with the pedal's central rotary knob: Radio, Tape, µVerb, Crush, Ladder, Vinyl and Glitch12. Delicious Audio describes Radio as static frequency filtering and LFO-controlled noise generation meant to emulate half-busted vintage radios, with a subtle ring modulator1. Tape covers tape saturation, flutter, pitch modulation and slapback, plus chorus, doubling and flanger1. µVerb is a primitive reverb using delay and diffusion, reminiscent of 8-bit gaming and Belton-Brick dark, spring-like reverb simulations1. Crush combines bit crushing and sample rate reduction with optional chorus1. Ladder applies sweeping filter effects akin to the Moog MF-101, using static, envelope-controlled, LFO-controlled or expression pedal-swept filtering1. Vinyl simulates aging records with filtering, skip noises and LFO pitch vibrato, and Glitch captures and replays parts of the signal at random rates and intervals, controlled by an envelope so effects activate when playing stops1.

Five knobs edit each mode: Destruct sets the amount of lo-fi grittiness, Filter controls the EQ element, Mix reintroduces the clean signal under the wet one, Vary affects a different parameter depending on the mode, and MOD adjusts rate, depth and shape of one of two onboard LFOs1. A 3-way switch under the MOD knob controls Rate, Depth and Shape through a single control, and a separate Bandwidth toggle adjusts tone1.

The sources differ on preset count. Delicious Audio reports 12 on-board presets accessible via the two footswitches1; Guitar Pedal X and Gearnews report 16 presets on the pedal and 128 via MIDI23. All three list MIDI over 3.5mm TRS In and Thru, stereo inputs and outputs, expression control and a USB-C port for the Neuro 3 editor123. Guitar Pedal X lists switchable active analog or true bypass and 9V DC power at 200mA2. Gearnews gives an MSRP of $3493; Guitar Pedal X lists a MAP of $3492.
