Surfy Industries introduced the Surfybear Compact Deluxe, an evolution of its Surfybear Compact spring reverb unit, on February 24, 2025. Delicious Audio reported the launch the same day, describing it as "an evolution of that pedal, featuring a lot more features including an added Tremolo effect"¹.

The unit is built around an original Accutronics type-8 spring reverb pan in an aluminum body that the maker calls "pedalboard-friendly"². Surfy Industries says the reverb section follows the specifications of the Fender 6G15 reverb unit, "replacing the tubes with JFET transistor technology," and states: "This is NOT a digital effect and it incorporates a real spring reverb pan"². Delicious Audio likewise notes "there are real springs in that big case"¹.

Controls include a dual mixer for switching between two reverb settings, which Delicious Audio says happens "via the central footswitch," and a decay control for the length of the reverb tail²¹. An external reverb pan can be connected and assigned independently to each mixer setting². The incorporated SurfyTrem offers Brownface and Blackface settings and can be placed before or after the reverb². A clean boost adjusts volume when the effect is engaged, for both the reverb and tremolo sides, and the pedal is true bypass². Power is 9-12V at any polarity; Delicious Audio says the power spec allows "for extra headroom"²¹.

Neither source gave a US price or a ship date for the Compact Deluxe. Surfy Industries lists Bjorn Isheden, "the Swedish engineer who developed the original circuit," as its technical director².
