Tech 21 announces Geddy Lee Amalgamation Signature Chorus for bass

Tech 21 has announced the Geddy Lee Amalgamation Signature Chorus, a compact bass chorus pedal developed with the Rush bassist. Pre-orders are open and the pedal will be available in the next few weeks, according to Guitar Journal1. Bass Magazine reported the introduction on January 20, 20262.
The pedal has four controls. Detune shifts the pitch of the choral voicing up or down, with no pitch shifting at unity at 12 o'clock; Tech 21 says this allows a chorus sound without modulation when Speed and Depth are at minimum3. Speed sets the modulation rate from 0.2 Hz to 10 Hz, and Depth sets the modulation depth3. Level adjusts overall output level, which Tech 21 says guards against the volume drop common when a chorus pedal is engaged3. Deviate mode alters the Detune function and adds a second voicing for more depth, which Tech 21 describes as sounding as if three people are playing at the same time32.
The pedal runs on a 9V alkaline battery (not included) or an optional DC power supply, Tech 21 model #DC93. Bass Magazine reports it is designed and manufactured by Tech 21 USA2. Guitar Journal describes a hard bypass that protects the dry signal1; Tech 21's own feature list does not mention bypass.
Guitar Journal gives the price as $249 at Thomann1. A separate Thomann listing in the same article shows $235.001. Tech 21's page gives no price3.
"Tech 21 worked with my tech, Skully, and I to produce a warm, ballsy, super flexible and dynamic chorus pedal, with a couple of wow sounds I can jump on live whenever I want a bass part to have a little extra sizzle."
