Walrus Audio adds Fundamental Lo-Fi Delay with three modes

Walrus Audio announced the Fundamental Lo-Fi Delay, a new entry in its Fundamental series, on September 10, 20261. The pedal is a delay built around three lo-fi algorithms, with slider controls and tap tempo12.
The top panel uses sliders for Time, Feedback and Mix, and a three-way switch selects the mode: AM, Murk or Echo12. Time runs to 1,000 ms3. Holding the footswitch engages tap tempo, and the switch's secondary function sets subdivisions of quarter, eighth or dotted eighth notes132. Internal power-up settings choose between natural trails and an immediate cutoff1; Gearnews reports a buffered bypass with selectable trails and a requirement for an isolated 9 VDC, center-negative supply of at least 100 mA2.
The modes are described differently by each outlet. Delicious Audio says AM accentuates high frequencies with restricted bandwidth, Murk produces dark clouds that react to pick attack, and Echo adds syncopated multi-tap rhythms1. Guitar Pedal X describes AM as a bright delay with a high-pass filter, light harmonic distortion and dual wow and flutter modulation, Murk as rolled-off highs with heavy distortion and dual low-frequency modulation, and Echo as a multi-tap delay with analog-style tone shaping3. Gearnews describes AM as brighter decaying echoes with a vintage radio texture, Murk as dense filtering and heavy modulation, and Echo as multi-tap patterns moving from tight repeats into syncopated rhythms2.
Guitar Pedal X calls it the 10th release in the Fundamental series, and says it is unclear whether all 10 pedals remain available3.
"The three Lo-Fi Delay Modes are what make this pedal worth checking out, in my opinion, as they have a lot of character and could be perfect for many styles of music."
Pricing differs between outlets. Gearnews lists the pedal at $99.992, while Guitar Pedal X gives $993. Gearnews reports it is available at Thomann and Sweetwater2; Guitar Pedal X says it is available direct from the Walrus Audio webstore and at leading dealers3.
