The Katzenkönig fuzz pedal is capable of making your guitar signal wail. Translating to “Cat King,” it is a combination of a Rat distortion pedal and Tone Bender MkII fuzz. This wide-ranging pedal gives you tones from creamy and smooth to wailing, snarling fuzz. Unlike many fuzz pedals, it works fine with high output humbuckers. The Katzenkönig consists of Volume, Filter, Gain, and Input knobs for dialing in your ideal sound. It boasts a high-quality footswitch and all-metal chassis for long-lasting performance.
The TightFuzz Pro is built from Amptweaker’s famous TightFuzz distortion pedal. Extreme gain coupled with four dedicated control knobs—Volume, Fuzz, Treble, and Bass—and a Flat-Sculpt toggle switch lets you dish out everything from buzzy, old-school fuzz to massive metal tones with a tinge of atonal weirdness. This slim form stompbox doesn’t run on battery juice and needs to be connected to a compatible 9V power supply.
The Dream Reaper Fuzz Modulation Machine is packed with quirky features guaranteed to transform your tone. It includes a BIAS knob that controls the effect’s nonlinearity in every mode and REAP knob that controls the intensity of your input while tussling with the oscillations for dominance in Dream mode. It also has two switches: FORCE which engages an inbuilt “pick up emulator” controlled by the Sense knob that emulates your guitar’s tone knob(s) and RANGE which can function both as a frequency range selector and low end capacitor selector.
