DOD and Morley have joined forces for the aptly named WTF, or Wah-ocTo-Fuzz: a single pedal that combines wah, octave and fuzz. Announced in late May 2026, it pools the two makers' archives, pairing Morley's switchless wah with a DOD octaver and classic Morley Fuzz12. Guitar.com reported the pedal was available at launch for $249.992.
What it is and how it works
The WTF is built around the classic Morley wah chassis, with Morley's Electro-Optical design and switchless operation: there is no wah footswitch to stomp, the pedal responds to how you play. On top of that sit a DOD octaver and the classic Morley Fuzz circuit2. Guitar.com's news writer Crystal Koe reported that the two manufacturers teamed up, with the makers saying the result "simply leaves players saying, 'WTF!'"1.

The three sections break down like this:
- Wah: Morley's switchless, Electro-Optical design on the classic Morley wah chassis, no wah footswitch2
- Octave: a DOD octaver2
- Fuzz: the classic Morley Fuzz circuit2
The fuzz section is controlled with a Level knob for volume tweaks and an Intensity control to dial in fuzz gain2.
What reviewers said
MusicRadar's reviewer found the switchless wah "as smooth and intuitive as ever," describing it as wide, throaty, and vocal, with a sweep that covers glassy funk to classic rock solos2.

Power and practicalities
The pedal runs on 9V power, either from a battery via an easy-access battery compartment or from a pedalboard power supply, drawing 30 mA12. Bypass is buffered rather than true bypass2, worth knowing if you keep a large board of true-bypass pedals. The enclosure is navy blue cold-rolled steel, which MusicRadar describes as a nod to classic DOD styling2.
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Power | 9V, battery or pedalboard power supply12 |
| Current draw | 30 mA2 |
| Bypass | Buffered2 |
| Inputs/outputs | One 1/4-inch input, one 1/4-inch output2 |
| Enclosure | Navy blue cold-rolled steel2 |
| Dimensions | 6.84" x 4.25" x 4.10" (17.4 cm x 10.8 cm x 10.4 cm)2 |
| Weight | 2.26 lbs (1.02 kg)2 |
The WTF's bypass is buffered, not true bypass2. Players who prefer a fully true-bypass signal chain may want to plan their board layout accordingly.
Where it sits in the fuzz field
For players comparing options, DOD's own fuzz range includes the DOD Chthonic Fuzz, the DOD Carcosa Fuzz and the DOD FX76 Punkifier, and the makers have also released the related DOD/Morley Wah-ocTo-Fuzz under its full name. The WTF stands apart by combining three effects in one box rather than offering a single fuzz voice; for wah-only or octave-only alternatives, see the site's wah and octave and pitch pages12.
