The Flamma FS02 is a compact digital reverb pedal from Flamma Innovation with seven reverb modes: Room, Hall, Church, Cave, Plate, Spring and Mod. It runs in stereo, with a stereo input and stereo output, and each mode has its own save slot, so you can store a setting for each of the seven effects12. Flamma's product page lists it at $78.00 USD as of October 2026, and shows it as sold out1.
The seven modes
The FS02 aims to simulate different environments, from a small room to larger spaces. Pedal of the Day described the set as seven differing styles in one sturdy, metal enclosure2.
| Mode | What it does |
|---|---|
| Room | Small-room reverb with fast decay2 |
| Hall | Large, spacious concert hall reverb2 |
| Church | Church-style reverb24 |
| Cave | Cave-style reverb24 |
| Plate | Studio-style plate reverb2 |
| Spring | Classic spring reverb tank2 |
| Mod | Reverb with a modulation effect2 |
Controls and presets
Delicious Audio's Paolo De Gregorio highlighted the control layout in his 2022 write-up3:
"The controls are extremely useful and not generic: Level, High-cut, Low-cut, Decay, and Pre-delay."
Those five knobs cover the usual reverb basics plus tone shaping: Level sets the mix, Decay sets the length, and the High-cut and Low-cut controls and Pre-delay let you shape the reverb tail in ways many budget reverbs do not offer3. Each effect can be saved to its own save slot, giving seven storable preset slots in total2.
The pedal also has a trail on function, which allows the reverb to fade out naturally after you disengage the footswitch rather than cutting off abruptly1.
Bypass: true bypass or buffered?
Flamma's own product page describes the FS02 as having low noise true bypass that reduces signal loss1. Pedal of the Day's review, on the other hand, describes it as a buffer bypass pedal with trail on2. A buffered bypass would be consistent with the trail on feature, since a reverb tail fading out naturally after switch-off generally requires the circuit to stay engaged. Players who care about bypass type should weigh both descriptions.
Price and where it sits
The FS02 has been positioned as a budget stereo reverb throughout its life142:
- Flamma's list price: $78.00 USD, as of October 20261
- gearnews buying guide, January 2024: $66.00 / £59.00 / 69.00€4
- Delicious Audio, February 2022: $65.993
Delicious Audio noted in 2022 that the FS02 was selling a lot, judging from the number of reviews it was getting3. The same review highlighted how useful its controls are: Level, High-cut, Low-cut, Decay, and Pre-delay, which the reviewer described as "extremely useful and not generic"3.
Flamma's product page showed the FS02 as sold out as of October 20261. Flamma also makes smaller and larger reverb options, including the Flamma FC02 Mini Reverb and the Flamma FV04.

Questions
Is the Flamma FS02 true bypass?
The two sources disagree. Flamma's own product page describes the FS02 as true bypass, saying it reduces signal loss. Pedal of the Day's review calls it a buffer bypass pedal with trail on. Either way, the pedal has a trail on function that lets the reverb fade out naturally after you switch it off, which is typical of buffered reverb designs.
Does the Flamma FS02 have stereo inputs and outputs?
Yes. Flamma's product page lists a high-quality stereo input and stereo output, and the pedal is marketed as a stereo digital guitar pedal. That makes it usable at the end of a stereo rig or with two amps.
What modes does the Flamma FS02 have?
Seven: Room, Hall, Church, Cave, Plate, Spring and Mod. Room is a small-room reverb with fast decay, Hall is a large, spacious concert hall sound, Plate is a studio-style plate reverb, Spring is a classic spring reverb tank, and Mod is reverb with a modulation effect.
How much does the Flamma FS02 cost?
Flamma's own page lists it at $78.00 USD as of October 2026. Earlier listings were lower: gearnews gave $66.00 / £59.00 / 69.00€ in January 2024, and Delicious Audio found it at $65.99 in February 2022.
Can you save presets on the Flamma FS02?
Yes. Each of the seven effects can be saved to its own save slot, giving seven storable preset slots in total, according to both Flamma's product page and Pedal of the Day's review.
