The JAM Pedals "SteamPink" Pink Flow is a multi-pedal: seven of the Greek company's individual circuits built into one large, hand-painted enclosure. In an interview on That Pedal Show, the company described it as "our first standard multi-pedal", adding "we have plans to do another one which is we hope it's coming soon"1. It sits in JAM's limited artwork range alongside the "Evil Flow" Pink Flow and the "Relic" Pink Flow, which JAM describes as custom artwork versions with the same sound and different artwork2. For more on the category, see Multi-effects Pedals.

What is inside the Pink Flow

The seven circuits run in a fixed order, with an effects loop in the middle so other pedals can be inserted between the drive side and the modulation and delay side2:

  1. Seagull
  2. Dyna-ssoR
  3. Tubedreamer
  4. Red Muck
  5. Send/return loop
  6. WaterFall
  7. Ripple
  8. Delay Llama

JAM describes the Dyna-ssoR section as providing "NOS CA3080 compression and sustain", referring to the rare old-stock CA3080 chip used in its compressor circuit2. The Tubedreamer is JAM's take on an 808-style overdrive, the Red Muck covers fuzz territory, and the WaterFall, Ripple and Delay Llama bring chorus, tremolo and delay respectively, each named after the standalone JAM pedal it is based on2.

Pink Flow signal chain: Seagull: first circuit in the chain; Dyna-ssoR: NOS CA3080 compression and sustain; Tubedreamer: overdrive stage; Red Muck: last circuit before the loop; Send/return loop: insert external pedals here; WaterFall: modulation after the loop; Ripple: tremolo stage; Delay Llama: final circuit in the chain

Power, buffer and bypass

The Pink Flow runs on a 9V DC, center-negative supply2. JAM does not publish a current draw figure on the product page, so plan supply headroom accordingly.

Bypass is selectable between true bypass and buffered bypass2. The buffer sits before the send jack, meaning it drives the effects loop as well as the rest of the chain2. The buffer setting is changed at power-up:

  1. Power the pedal up while holding the Seagull footswitch.
  2. Two blinks indicate the buffer is off.
  3. Three blinks indicate the buffer is on.

Because the buffer sits before the send jack, switching it on or off affects what drives your external loop pedals as well as the Pink Flow's own output. If you run pedals in the loop, set the buffer with that in mind.

Artwork, versions and buying

Every custom artwork Pink Flow is a one-of-a-kind hand-painted piece, and JAM states plainly that "the pedal you receive will differ in detail from the photos shown"2. The range includes the SteamPink shown here, the "Evil Flow" Pink Flow and the "Relic" Pink Flow; JAM describes these as custom artwork versions with the same sound and different artwork2. The standard, non-artwork Pink Flow is also listed on the site.

The SteamPink is listed at £929.00 GBP on JAM's product page (as of 25 October 2026)2. For UK buyers, JAM ships DDP with 20% UK VAT and all duties included, with no extra charges on delivery, and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee with a refund, no questions asked2.

At 40 x 17 x 6.7 cm and 1.75 kg, the Pink Flow takes up a sizeable footprint, so measure your board before planning around it2. JAM's other multi-pedal line, the Koch Ness Monster developed with Greg Koch, comes in Standard and Supreme editions3.
