The Mythos x TPS Argo Boost Deluxe is in production, That Pedal Show's Mick Taylor wrote in a March 2025 post announcing the pedal. It is a collaboration between Taylor and Mythos Pedals, the Nashville builder founded by Zach Broyles in 20101.

Taylor describes it as "a two-in-one full-range boost and blendable octafuzz effect for guitar"1. The boost side is the red knob and the right-hand footswitch; the three white knobs and the left-hand footswitch add the octafuzz1. Mythos states the original Argo design is "a tweak on the iconic 'COB' circuit," and that the added footswitch and red boost knob let players use the boost portion by itself2. MusicRadar reports the topology is unchanged from the original Argo3.

Controls, per Mythos2:

ControlFunction
BoostAdjusts output when fuzz mode is inactive
VolumeAdjusts output
BlendMix between boosted clean signal and octave/fuzz; left for clean, right for fuzz
FuzzAdjusts fuzz amount; octave is always present
On/Off footswitchMaster on/off
Fuzz footswitchEngages the full Argo octave fuzz circuit

An internal HIGHS switch adds brightness to the boost mode and ships off21. Mythos notes the pedal "is NOT a dual circuit pedal," and that with the fuzz and blend knobs at maximum the fuzz can bleed into boost mode2. Specs are true bypass, 9V operation, mono in and out, about 5 mA current draw, and an enclosure of 94.5mm by 119.25mm by 61mm2.

"Instead of pairing a new booster inside this new pedal, think of it as changing lanes inside the pedal."

Prices differ by source. MusicRadar gives $229 and says it is available now3; Gearnews lists $268.00 and reports a four to five week shipping wait from Thomann4.
