The Polyend Loop is a looping pedal that folds a drum machine and a multi-effects unit into one stompbox. Announced and made available on 24 September 2026 by the Polish brand Polyend, it is pitched as an "idea machine" aimed at guitarists and electronic musicians alike1. It centers on four independent loop tracks, each of which can be mono or stereo, backed by a built-in drum machine and a pool of more than 100 effect types12.
It is available now at a list price of $599 in the US, or 599 euro in the EU1.
Drums, samples and per-track effects
The drum machine side of the pedal is where most of its content lives. Out of the box it is stocked with over 500 drum kits, 350 rhythms, 2,000 samples and 180 pre-made loops, all loaded via microSD2. You can also record your own samples live through the audio inputs2.
The step sequencer is deep for a pedal. Delicious Audio reports that you can program and customize over 15 distinct drum parameters independently on every step, and chain patterns into extended arrangements2.
Effects are per track rather than global: every loop channel has its own discrete, assignable effect, drawn from a pool of more than 100 effect types covering reverbs, delays, distortion, modulation effects and more12. Delicious Audio lists the range as including reverb, delay, chorus, phaser, tape echo, overdrives, filters and spatial panning2.
| Content | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Drum kits | Over 500 | Loaded via microSD2 |
| Rhythms | 350 | Loaded via microSD2 |
| Samples | 2,000 | Loaded via microSD; more can be recorded live2 |
| Pre-made loops | 180 | Loaded via microSD2 |
| Effect types | More than 100 | One independent effect per loop track1 |
| Drum parameters per step | Over 15 | Programmable independently on every step2 |
Scenes and projects
For organizing material, the Loop can save and recall up to 1,000 scenes, which store loops, drum patterns, tempo and effect settings1. Scenes in turn are organized into up to 1,000 projects, with bar-quantized next/previous transitions that Delicious Audio says let you fluidly map out verse, chorus and bridge sections2.
Playback is flexible. Loops can run in forward, reverse and ping-pong directions1. The pedal can run tempo-synced, with the tempo set either internally or via external MIDI, or free running1. There is also a Varispeed mode in which loop speed and pitch follow tempo changes1.
How it compares with other loopers
The 52-second per-track recording limit is the Loop's most notable constraint, and it is where dedicated loopers pull ahead. The Singular Sound Aeros Loop Studio records up to 20 minutes of mono audio per track, with up to 10 hours per song31. The NUX Dual Loop Stereo offers roughly 1.5 hours on a single track and around 26 hours across all its memories4. The Electro-Harmonix 95000 Performance Loop Laboratory records up to 375 minutes and 100 loops to a 16GB microSD card5.
What the Loop offers instead is the combination: a drum machine with 500-plus kits and a step sequencer, per-track effects, and pattern chaining, all in one stompbox. Loopers with built-in drums such as the BOSS RC-10R Rythm Loop Station and the NUX JTC Drum & Loop Pro cover similar ground with fewer tracks.
External expression control is one area where the Loop matches its rivals: it has an expression pedal input1, as does the Aeros Loop Studio, which is compatible with any external expression pedal167, and the Electro-Harmonix 95000, which offers expression pedal control over loop volume167.

Questions
How long can each track on the Polyend Loop record?
Each of the four loop tracks has a maximum recording time of 52 seconds. That is short compared with some dedicated loopers, but the Loop is built around combining tracks with drum patterns and effects rather than long-form recording.
Does the Polyend Loop have MIDI?
Yes. It has a USB-C port for bidirectional MIDI and a TRS MIDI port, so it can sync to external gear or have its tempo set from an external MIDI clock. It can also run free running without any sync.
Can the Polyend Loop load samples from a microSD card?
Yes. A microSD card is how the pedal loads its content: over 500 drum kits, 350 rhythms, 2,000 samples and 180 pre-made loops. You can also record your own samples live through the audio inputs.
Does the Polyend Loop work in stereo?
Yes. Each of the four loop tracks can be set to mono or stereo, and the pedal has a pair of 6.3mm jack outputs that can be used for stereo or mono output. The stereo input is used for live looping.
How many effects does the Polyend Loop have?
More than 100 effect types, covering reverbs, delays, distortion, modulation effects and more. Each loop track can run one independent effect at a time, chosen from that pool.
Can I plug an expression pedal into the Polyend Loop?
Yes, the Polyend Loop has an expression pedal input. External expression control is also common on rival loopers such as the Singular Sound Aeros Loop Studio and the Electro-Harmonix 95000.
