Details: The Violet Ram’s Head is probably the most unique sounding of the 70’s style fuzz classic reproductions Vick Audio makes. It is a very high gain pedal like the early Triangles and 73 Ram’s Heads but it’s fuzz has a smoother texture that reminds me of some of the Russian models. What makes this version really unique to me is the higher voicing of this pedal. The Violet Ram’s Head may be the perfect fit for those people with it smooth saturated fuzz and brighter voicing. A switch has been added for three mid-range options scooped (stock) as well as flat and boosted mids.
